Suzanne Lauritzen is a tax lawyer (LL.M.), STEP Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), and accredited mediator (CSMC, CEDR) with over 25 years of senior experience advising entrepreneurs, owners, international families and family offices.

She began her career in Sweden in corporate tax planning, M&A, and tax litigation, then moved into international tax advisory roles in Switzerland, specialising in serving corporate and private clients in international contexts.

She has over 15 years of experience in senior leadership positions within multi-family office, trustee and private wealth environments, including Partner, Managing Director and board-level roles. Her support streches across ownership direction, governance, wealth structuring and tax planning – in situation like relocation, transition planning and continuity structuring.

In her independent capacity, she can serve as facilitator, mediator, adviser, protector or director.

Through years of advising families on complex tax, legal and ownership matters, she observed that many of the most significant risks and opportunities were rooted not in structures but in lack of, or weak, communication and interaction between family members and/or other stakeholders. This led her to develop a particular focus on family governance and ownership support, integrating the principles of mediation for efficient dispute prevention or resolution .

Suzanne has led and developed Family Governance and Family Office services as a Tax Partner within a Big Four firm, bringing together ownership structuring, governance, family dynamics and continuity planning.
Today, she works independently with owners, entrepreneurial families, family offices and advisers facing transitions, growth, ownership issues or increasing complexity.

Suzanne is based in Switzerland and works in English, French, and Swedish.
